G'Day and welcome to my site!
I'm Scott McFarlane, and if you don't mind I'd like to cut to the chase....
First of all I want to let you know that this wont be your typical "about me" website bio.
That's because I expect you aren't here right now to learn about me and my life story.
I suspect that you are here because you have an interest in learning more about this whole "laptop lifestyle" thing and how people make money online, and if your anything like me your also wondering if its a real thing, AND IF YOU can do it, am I right?
Well, if that's what your searching for then you are in the right place.
My mission with this site is to help as many people as possible navigate the online business world and find a path that is right for THEM. And do it in a way that provides a safe place for you to explore the options without the "catches" or heavy sales tactics.
Why?
Simple! Because if your new to this whole "digital business world" like I was, you've probably been scouring the internet, like I did, trying to make sense of all of the different options that are available, and trying to decipher the truth from the B.S.
I found this process so overwhelming, challenging and frustrating, not to mention time consuming, and so I wanted to create a site where I could help people to navigate their way through the online business minefield, save them some time and frustration like I went through, and to do it in a way that helps to put the information in one place, translates the jargon to make this stuff a bit easier to understand.
Now, don't get me wrong, there will be different options and opportunities that, IF they are RIGHT FOR YOU and align with YOUR interests and objectives, will require an investment in either your time, money, or both, and lets be honest regardless of whether its online business or a traditional brick and mortar business they all require this investment, and if you think you can build a business without investing time and money then this site is probably not for you.
My commitment to you is that I will not recommend anything unless I have either personally tried it and invested in it, or done a considerable amount of research on it before recommending it, and I expect you to hold me accountable if I break that commitment.
How I am going to do this?
Simple, I will share with you everything I've learned, and continue to learn along the way in my own personal journey. Successes AND lessons (I don't believe in failures, you win or you learn), as well as any information that I feel is relevant and can be validated....so no bullshit!.

Now, if you have nothing else to do (which shouldn't be the case if your serious about an online business and want to create your own freedom) then stick around and continue reading below and I will tell you a little bit more about me.
I am a country boy, born and raised in a country town in New South Wales Australia called Orange, which is about 3 to 4 hours drive from a place that you may have heard of called Sydney.
I married the love of my life at 24 years of age, who I met in Orange, and we have two beautiful, intelligent (they clearly take after their mum) and healthy teenage girls.
My younger sister and I where raised by my parents who separated when I was 13.
We lived in a housing commission estate in Orange, and whilst we didn't have all the "stuff" that other kids had we where fortunate enough to have a mother who loved us unconditionally, but also raised us with a firm hand, and I credit her for raising us to be good humans with a strong moral compass and knowing right from wrong. She also taught us to say "please" and "thank you" and to respect our elders.
My mother was a hard worker, often at times working two jobs, and working late nights and early mornings to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads, and this work ethic rubbed off on my sister and I as we both finished school in year 10 and ventured out into the workforce to help support mum in paying the bills.
So at this point you might be thinking "that's all very nice Scott, but you told me this wouldn't be one of those typical boring bio's, so what's this got to do with me and starting an online business" and that's a good question which I hope I can answer in a way that relates for you.
You see while I may not be the most experienced, or wealthy digital marketer on the planet (yet), despite having plenty of excuses to not succeed in life, you know the ones, "came from a broken home", "had no money, we where poor", "got into fights at school and got suspended", "dropped out of school in year 10", etc. etc. which are all true, I still managed to create what some would consider to be a successful life for myself and my family.
I started work as a tyre fitter when I left school, which was hard physical work and it taught me the value of a hard days work and how good it feels sometimes to just get your hands dirty.
I did a few manual labouring type jobs throughout my late teens and early 20's, and ventured into sales in my late 20's which taught me some valuable lessons which I have taken with me into different careers over the course of my life, like being genuine, and how to listen to people and understand them and their needs (you've heard of two ears one mouth) and how helping the customer to make a decision that is right for them, even if its not what is right for you as the sales person, builds integrity and trust, and how by not being a "pushy salesman" might mean you don't make a sale today but you WILL gain peoples trust and respect, and in turn build long term relationships with them and make more sales in the long run as as a result.
The skills and lessons I learned led me into real estate sales where I became the top earner in our company within my first 12 months in the business.
I later ventured into the world of car sales, where again I went on to become the top sales person in the company and later the General Manager.
I have managed two car dealerships throughout my career, and this gave me the skills, knowledge and capabilities to later move into corporate management, managing multiple 7 figure businesses and earning over six figures per year which I have done for over 10 years and continue to do today.
Now I know what your probably thinking right now, "this guys is an ex real estate agent, and an ex car salesman so I'm out of here", but hear me out. The reason I wanted to share this with you is to show you that despite your background, and despite the excuses that you may come up with, and we all do, as to why you can't do certain things, if you have a good work ethic, have honesty and integrity and believe that you can do something, then you absolutely can, IF you are willing to put in the effort and learn from people that have done what you want to do.
I know what its like to start with nothing, and when you have nothing and people take advantage of you (that's a polite way of saying they rip you off) it can be devastating, and I have had that happen to me too, so I want you to feel confident that you are not taking advice or opinions from someone who has never had to do the hard yards, or who doesn't understand what its like to work your butt off to try and get ahead only to feel like your on the mouse wheel running around in circles everyday and getting nowhere, and I hope that if you do me the honour of sticking around that I can prove to you that I'm in this for YOU as much I am for me, because if YOU don't win then neither do I.
I started my own path online after many years In the corporate rate race, because despite the fact I was, and am, doing quite well financially, and I have the house and the car and the lifestyle on the coast, it comes at a price when you do it the "traditional" way which is trading time for money, and time is our most precious commodity. It's an invaluable, non renewable resource and we can't make more of it no matter how hard we try or how much money we have. BUT we CAN make better use of the time we have.
So for me the online business world provides me with the ability to not just earn some money online, but to give me MORE TIME to do the things I want to do with the people I want to do them with.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against corporate, or traditional business in general, in fact I take my hat off to anyone who is courageous enough to own a traditional business today, and I wouldn't be who I am today or have what I have without it, but for me I knew there had to be another way, and that all I had to do was find the right vehicle, be willing to work hard, and be humble enough to learn from the people who have done what I want to do, and I could have the TIME AND FINANCIAL FREEDOM that I desired, AND SO CAN YOU!
I spent 2 years researching just about every type of online business there is and at one stage I was so overwhelmed by it all that I almost gave up on the whole idea!
But its not in my nature to quit and the only way you will ever fail at anything is if you give up, so I kept searching.
I came to realise that regardless of the business model, the people who had the most success got very good at one skill set in particular, and that skill set was learning how to sell and market online.
Now with all my years of sales and marketing experience in "traditional business" I thought "how hard can it be right" but let me tell you it's a WHOLE different world when your in the online space.
Fortunately for me I found the mentors that I currently work with today who were able to offer me all the training and information I needed to work out which path was for me and then provide the training, tools and support that I needed to help me achieve whatever it was that I wanted to achieve for myself, and the best part of all was there was NO PRESSURE from them to sign up for anything or hand over any money.
Instead they provided me with an insane amount of FREE information and training on the types of online business models, and how to build a business from scratch around whatever passions or interests you might have.
